Operating a fleet of modern tugboats, TCO/TCM as the leading position in providing towing service in the region is currently Damen's strategic partner in the construction of new tugboats/service vessels that meets the increasing demands of domestic and foreign partners on technical requirements, types, and age of vessels.

TCO/TCM is honored to be Damen's strategic partner in building new tugboats/service vessels to meet the increasing demands of domestic and foreign partners in terms of technical requirements, types, and ages of vessels.

Damen designs innovative and effective solutions to serve the needs of the Offshore Wind industry. The range of safe and efficient vessels covers all activities from installation to maintenance and support – including a fully integrated support vessel: the Damen ‘Sea Base’.

TCM proudly owns 2 Damen ASD tugboats ready for serving windfarm installation: ASD3212 (Tan cang 86) and ASD2813 (Tan cang 99). Those whose design focuses on combined delivery of safety and efficiency have excellent seakeeping behavior, superb maneuverability, and outstanding towing capabilities. Indeed, they are multi-purpose tugs designed for push-pull, harbor assisting, escort towing, firefighting, salvage, oil pollution, anchor handling, and serving nearshore and offshore projects.

Tan cang 99 which is owned by TCO/TCM is one of the most modern tugboats built by Damen Song Cam Shipyard. The ship is equipped with an external fire-fighting system (FiFi1) to serve towing, rescue, and oil spill prevention at sea. The vessel is designed to reduce NOx emissions, meeting European standards (Tier II) to fulfill the goal of building a "green port" of Saigon Newport Corporation. Tan cang 99 is the first commercial vessel of Damen Song Cam for a Vietnamese client – TCO/TCM.
