Towage assistance for the first refrigerated LPG vessel in Lunar New Year 2022 berthing floating refrigerated LPG storage vessels in Northern region

At noon on February 7, 2022, TCM's tugboat fleet successfully assisted the first refrigerated LPG vessel in Lunar New Year 2022 berthing Floating Refrigerated LPG Storage Vessel - Viet Dragon 68 at the Hai Ha anchorage area in Thai Binh, Vietnam.

Viet Dragon 68 is the first Floating Refrigerated LPG Storage Vessel in the North of Vietnam, put into operation in July, 2021; with a tonnage of 60,000 DWT (with a capacity of over 44,000 tons of refrigerated LPG).  Overcoming many difficulties especially ones caused by global Covid-19 pandemic, the project’s strict and complex requirements, the implementation has faced many challenges. However, with the determination of the parties, Viet Dragon 68 floating storage vessel has been put into use and received the refrigerated LPG vessels successfully.    

The LPG import at the beginning of the Lunar New Year was carried out with the supervision and coordination of the departments to complete the importation of the first refrigerated LPG during the holiday season. This is a sure commitment, a positive signal of a favorable start, promising a successful new year.
